Deux itinéraires à la sortie de Papeete, vers la côte ouest. Si vous quittez la ville par le front de mer et vous optez pour la route des collines, ce parcours de 5 à 6 km, vous conduit directement sur la commune de Punaauia, à la hauteur de l'hotel Sofitel maeava beach. Si vous quittez la ville par la rue du cdt Destremeau, et vous passez devant le lycée Gauguin et le collège de Tipaerui, vous atteignez bientôt l'Hotel Sheraton (pk2 O). Ne pas oubliez de faire un arrêt au virage du flamboyant, au vous avez une magnifique vue sur l'ile soeur de Moorea et la piste de l'aéroport. Vous atteignez ensuite la mairie de Faa'a , construite en style polynésien et le marché , très typique. Ensuite vous doublez l'aéroport internationale de Tahiti-faa'a (pk5 O), suivi de l'hotel Tahiti beachcomber (pk7 O) .

Two way to leave Papeete. If you leave by the the waterfront side,you drive the freeway direct throught the city of Punaauia, by side of the Sofitel maeva beach hotel.
If you leave Papeete by the Cdt Destremeau street, you're can see on your left side the Gauguin highschool and the Tipaerui college. You reach now the Sheraton hotel (pk2 O) and a mile later , the flammetree turn. Don't miss a stop at this lookout to the sister island: Moorea, and the runway of the airport.
Follow the road to arrive to the city hall of Faa'a, rising in the polynsian style, and faw meter later the public market.
then cross the international airport of Tahiti-Faa'a (pk5 O), and to end with the city of Faa'a, the Tahiti beachcomber hotel (pk7 O)
