PK22.4 O-coté montagne: Marae ARAHURAHU. On y accède par un chemin étroit , et après 200m de la route se trouve un parking. Poursuivez à pied et découvrez plusieurs terrasses de pierre, un fare en bambou qui servait aux prêtres.Le marae ARAHURAHU est en bon état de conservation et des recontitutions historiques y sont organisées chaque année en juillet pendant les fêtes du Heiva.

PK26.8 O-coté montagne: Distillerie AVA TEA. dégustation d'alcool local fait à base des fruits de polynésie. attention aux arrêts prolongés!

PK28.5 O-coté montagne: Grotte naturelle de mara'a. Cette vaste cavité creusée dans la roche , abrite un lac d'eau glacée. De nombreuses fougères pendent du plafond de la grotte. Sur le devant de la grotte un joli jardin emplie de fleurs les plus diverses.

PK22.4 O-mountain side: the side road leading into the valley to the marae ARAHURAHU. Follow the road to the parking area and walk a few steps to the two restored open-air stone temples, which were used in pre-christian days for religious ceremonies, meetings, and cultural rites, sacrifices and burials. There is no entries fee to visit the marae except during special performancesthat take place during the Heiva in july.

PK26.8 O-mountain side: AVA TEA distillery and tasting room.your are welcome to taste all flavors of local fruits. If you imbibe too much, catch the local bus !

PK28.5 O-mountain side: The grottos of mara'a are joined by a flower-bordered walkway. The Paroa cave is the largest of three natural caves, where overhead springs drip through wild ferns and moss, forming a pool where children play.
